Brian Ortega got an epic tattoo for Tracey Cortez.

Former title challenger Brain Ortega showed his followers that love is still in the air and romance isn’t quite dead just yet after receiving an epic tattoo for fellow UFC fighter and fiancée Tracey Cortez.

The MMA power couple made their relationship public in mid-2021.

Fight fans detected that the pair’s relationship was taken to the next level after Cortez was seen wearing a luxurious diamond ring when wishing her future husband success in his upcoming title fight against Alexander Volkanovski.

UFC commentator Laura Sanko was amongst the followers to point it out.

“Girrrrrrllll!!! That ring is…Tell me I’m not making stuff up?!” and Cortez was quick to reply: “I said yes!”

The No. 2 ranked featherweight uploaded a video to his Instagram revealing his Valentine’s Day present to Cortez.

“All I can say is…I LOVE HER” Ortega captioned the video. His fiancée Tracey Cortez insinuated she got the same tattoo, commenting: “Matchi matchi baby, te amo!”

After undergoing tough battles inside the UFC Octagon, Brian Ortega is no stranger to pain and suffering. More recently, his five-round war with featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, where he lost a convincing decision.

Ortega came extremely close to dethroning Volkanovski with multiple submission attempts, but the Australians sheer will to not quit was the difference-maker.

The bout marked Ortega’s second crack at UFC gold after falling short the first time round to Max Holloway at UFC 231, dropping another dominant one-sided decision.

On the other side of the table, Ortega’s fiancée Cortez has found tremendous success inside the UFC’s Octagon after obtaining a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2019. Since then, Cortez has accumulated three straight victories over Vanessa Melo, Stephanie Egger, and Justine Kish.
